The Cove Rapidly Ageing Pensioners Walking Football Club Raise £265 for SHAC

Here at Surrey Heath Age Concern we would all very much like to thank everyone at the Cove Rapidly Ageing Pensioners Walking Football Club; they are managed by Mick Quinn who is a Quintessential Sports Therapist in Camberley.  The club raised the very impressive sum of £250 for Surrey Heath Age Concern, when they played a walking football match on Sunday 28th October, from the smiles on all their faces in the photo it is very clear that they also had a fantastic time in doing so!  This money will be put to extremely good use, helping to fight loneliness and isolation within the older generation in our local community!

If there is anyone else out there who is planning a similar sporting event or perhaps something completely different, that can help raise funds for us here at SHAC through sponsorship, then please do contact Gill on 01252 266841 or email her at we would absolutely love to hear from you, thank you!
