Bluebird Care Grant

Gwen, one of Surrey Heath Age Concern’s Trustees was recently delighted to accept a generous cheque for £150.00 from Bluebird Care in Camberley. The cheque was handed over by one of the companies carers and Katerina Papamichalaki, Bluebird Care Director.

“This kind donation from Bluebird Care will help us set up our New Horizon Project, aimed at helping clients cope with a recent bereavement.  We plan to hold support group meetings in our Rainbow Café, which is a drop-in café for the elderly, manned entirely by volunteers. This will provide a much needed service for our clients who are often left lonely, heartbroken and bewildered by the loss of a loved one”.

Everyone at SHAC would like to thank our friends at Bluebird Care in Camberley for this very kind donation!
