Thank You – Thelma

Many of you will already be aware that Thelma, our Visiting and Befriending coordinator has recently left her position here at SHAC; she is relocating to Northumberland, to live closer to her family.

Thelma worked tirelessly for SHAC’s Visiting and Befriending Service for 6 years; she did an excellent job of introducing our fantastic volunteers to the lonely and isolated folks in our community and ensuring that everything went smoothly with these visits. I am sure that everyone at SHAC will join our Chair of the Trustees Christopher Russell (see photo above) in thanking Thelma for all her hard work for SHAC over the last 6 years and wishing her all the very best for the future, she will be very much missed!

Don’t Panic folks! SHAC’s Visiting and Befriending Service will continue with it’s vital and excellent work, Maureen (who many of you will already know) will continue to run the service.
