Vintage Tea Room

The Rainbow Café which is run by Surrey Heath Age Concern will be turning into a Vintage Tea Room on one day a week when guests will be taken back in time to an era when they were younger.  The café will be transformed into a place which will evoke fond memories of a bygone age.

This ‘Pop-Up’ tea room has been financed by Vinci a local company who have provided SHAC with a grant to enable this new venture.

Guests tea-room-2will experience music, sounds and reminiscences from a bygone age and enjoy a lovely tea with bone china cups & saucers, pretty cake stands and familiar items, making new friends in an atmosphere filled with fun and laughter.

This vintage tea room will provide a safe, welcoming place where isolation is forgotten as guests live in the moment, sharing reminiscences and blossoming friendships with their contemporaries whilst enjoying good food.

A bespoke venue aiding memory through reminiscence and music.

There will be no charge for this service.

If you would like more details of our Vintage Tea Room either to come along as a guest or a volunteer please contact Surrey Heath Age Concern on: 01252 266841 or e mail: or visit our website
